Frequently asked questions

Will my timestamps be modified or drifted?

Never. Start and end timecodes stay fixed. Only the subtitle text is translated.

Can I export bilingual (Original + Translated) subtitles?

Yes. Export translated text only, or stacked original and translated subtitles for language learning and international audiences.

Does it support WebVTT (.vtt) styling and position tags?

Yes. Standard positioning, styling cues and VTT headers are preserved when you export in the original format.

Is the sample free, and how much does a full translation cost?

The sample uses no credits: up to 20 complete cues within a budget of 1,200 words or 2,000 Chinese, Japanese or Korean characters. A short file may fit entirely in the sample. Full translation uses 1 credit per 1,200 words or 2,000 such characters; mixed text is combined and the total rounded up, with a minimum of 1 credit. The upload shows the full price before you start.
