Who operates Scanfile
scanfile.online operates this PDF translation service. For questions about documents, account information, or privacy, contact support by email.
Information used by the service
Documents: the PDF you upload, its name, size and page count, the languages you select, translated pages, and processing status.
Account access: your email address, name and account identifier when you sign in. Google sign-in supplies the basic account details you authorize; email sign-in uses a one-time code.
Purchases: selected pages, the quoted price, order and checkout identifiers, payment confirmations, and delivery or support status.
Service operation: request identifiers, timing, errors, and network information used to operate and protect the service. Support messages include the information you choose to send.
These details are used to provide the translation you request, control document access, record purchases, recover failed delivery, and respond to support requests. Providing a document is necessary for translation; an account is optional for guest use.
Where processing happens
PDF files and service records are handled by our application infrastructure, including Cloudflare hosting and storage and a separate translation runtime. Document content is sent for automated translation; model and infrastructure providers involved in that processing may operate outside your country.
Creem describes its own handling of payment information in its privacy notice. No claim is made here that all providers store data in a single region or that every provider uses the same retention policy.
Document access and retention
Adding or retrying pages renews file access for 3 days. Files stay available while translation runs, and for 3 days after it finishes. Files are kept for 3 days, whether signed in or not. Signing in saves the translation record to your account; it does not extend file availability. Download your files before they expire.
Payment receipts, order references, security records, and minimal deletion records are separate from the PDF. Deleting a document does not automatically erase records needed to explain a charge, resolve a dispute, or comply with applicable record-keeping duties. Final retention schedules will be published before general release.
Cookies and browser storage
Essential cookies identify your signed-in or guest session and protect account access. Browser storage remembers non-secret task or payment references so the interface can recover after navigation. Clearing guest cookies can remove your ability to access guest documents; save important tasks to your account first.
Your controls and requests
You can download available translations and delete tasks through the document interface. For account data access, correction, deletion, or other privacy requests, contact support. We may ask you to verify ownership before changing or disclosing private information.
Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, obtain a portable copy, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or complain to your local data-protection authority. This notice does not remove those rights.
Please do not include passwords, one-time codes, full payment-card details, or sensitive PDFs in your first support email. A task or order reference is usually enough to start.
